Adam Gerik is a product manager on a team rolling out the next version of Gannett’s Presto CMS. Before that, he was the assistant managing editor/digital of the Journal Star in Peoria, Ill., overseeing the photography, graphics and digital platforms at the paragraph factory. He was hired as a staff photographer in 2005, moved to the role of web/video producer in 2008, appointed digital editor in 2012 and promoted to AME in 2015.
